Well, not quite!
This describes our water sports center's location. But vacation and work are two very different words (and two very different experiences) and working under the tropical sun for long hours, and modest pay may soon taint your vision of paradise.
Beautiful Roatan is as yet very unspoiled, but this also, of course, means that communications, accommodation, leisure opportunities and the little luxuries that most of us take for granted are still very basic or in short supply.
We are looking for a couple to assist us during the winter season. A modest wage as well as commission will be payable.
The successful applicants will be hard working, physically fit, and able to manage technical equipment under demanding circumstances.
They must also have good communications skills and be able to relate to and deal with International customers with a very high emphasis on quality service and safety awareness.
An interest in water sports would be an advantage as would fluency in Spanish or Italian and this would be an ideal position for university graduates wishing to spend some time abroad whilst working in the outdoors, in a healthy environment but with (at times) physically challenging work.
